“TayHoops” Girls Basketball Clinic

Join Northwestern standout Tayla Thomas for her first-ever youth basketball clinic, designed to empower and inspire the next generation of female athletes! The TayHoops Girls Basketball Clinic offers an exciting opportunity for girls to learn from one of the Big Ten’s most dynamic players, both on and off the court. Tayla's mission extends beyond her personal achievements. She is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of athletes, particularly young girls who may not have access to elite sports training and mentorship. Through her “TayHoops” Girls Basketball Clinic, Tayla provides a supportive and inspiring environment where participants can grow both on and off the court. The clinic emphasizes fundamental skill development—such as ball handling, shooting, and defensive techniques—while also fostering confidence, leadership, and teamwork. Tayla incorporates workshops on goal setting, self-discipline, and mental resilience, helping young athletes build character as well as athletic ability. With hands-on coaching, personal storytelling, and a focus on community, Tayla ensures every girl leaves the camp feeling seen, supported, and stronger in her abilities. The TayHoops clinic isn’t just about basketball; it’s about nurturing potential and inspiring girls to lead with heart, just as Tayla does every day.
